I have a Shark Guard that has worked well, but it is annoying to remove frequently for dado cuts. As well, I find the 4” flex duct on it slightly bends its riving knife and makes it harder to push boards through. I had debated about buying the new Sawstop overhead guard, but I wanted to maintain the 4” duct (Sawstop and Excalibur boom tube are 3”). So, bought some Unistrut and put together this setup. Fully adjustable but I don’t really ever move my TS so I don’t anticipate having to adjust it very much now that it is set up.
