Had to make a liquor cabinet to sort of match the whiskey cabinet I made (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/312538). Like the whiskey cabinet, this was a frustrating experience that dragged on for months rather than being what I initially envisioned as a quick project. I think I’ve had enough of hand cut half blind dovetails for awhile. I’m not overly sold on the look the hairpin legs give the cabinet, will have to add making a base for the cabinet to my list of future projects.
Claro walnut with cherry, finished with Minwax “tung” oil.
