Have been meaning to build this project for a long time…beats having the bits laying loose in a drawer. I love the look of wormy chestnut, but it sure is difficult to work with; just wants to splinter and splinter and splinter….Wanted to do something a bit different for the interior; back is t+g pine with milk paint.
Now have an excuse to buy some more bits to fill up the interior…
Finished with two coats of “Maloof” finish ie. 1/3 BLO, 1/3 turpentine and 1/3 poly.
