First of several benches I’m making for the elm table I just finished (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/78137). The bench is elm; but there is an interesting contrast between the wood slab for the top and the legs. The top is much darker wood compared to the legs which took on an ugly yellowish tinge with the Minwax “Tung Oil” finish I used.
